The WellStar Healthcare Careers Partnership with CobbWorks and Atlanta CareerRise is bringing to scale a model career development program for underemployed incumbent workers and a job preparation and training pipeline for job seekers to be hired for WellStar entry openings.

Atlanta CareerRise Winter newsletter
Atlanta CareerRise releases its second Request for Proposals for workforce partnerships in the healthcare sector. These projects will work with employers to advance incumbent workers and/or job seekers by lessening the barriers that hold frontline workers back. Proposals are due November 5.

Atlanta CareerRise invests in its first Healthcare Careers Partnership led by WellStar Health System to provide career exploration and a blended-learning essential skills refresher to incumbent entry-level workers to prepare them for career advancement. Partners CobbWorks and the Atlanta Regional Workforce Board will prepare job seekers for specific entry-level requirements.
